Is the instant CV checker really free?

Yes. You can get text-based CV feedback at no charge. The service is rate-limited to help prevent automated abuse and keep it available for everyone.

Does Worklis save my CV or job description?

The new instant-review endpoint does not write CV contents or job descriptions to the Worklis database, and it does not create a downloadable CV file. To protect service availability, Worklis stores a one-way hash of the request IP and the request timestamp for rate limiting; those records are intended to be cleaned up after seven days.

Who processes the CV to generate feedback?

The CV or pasted CV text and the job description are sent to OpenAI through its API to produce the review. Worklis requests that the response is not stored by the API using the store=false setting. This is not a guarantee that no provider-side processing or retention can occur; please review OpenAI’s applicable API privacy terms before submitting sensitive information.

Can I trust the score or add every suggested keyword?

Treat the score as an approximate comparison of the information in your CV with the job advert, not a prediction of whether you will be hired. Add keywords only when they accurately describe your skills and experience. AI can misunderstand details, so review every suggestion before using it.

What files can I upload?

The checker accepts PDF CVs up to 2 MB. If you prefer, you can paste the text of your CV instead. A job description is required so the feedback can be tailored to a specific role.
