About
Inspirational Events and Investments Ltd are looking for a Chef de Partie to join our team at the Lauriston Hotel working 36 hours per week.

Day to day duties of the role

Assist in the provision of high-quality meals within agreed guidelines and with planning menus.

Order provisions as required taking into account any special dietary requirements.

Ensure that you are aware of and work within the health, safety and food hygiene regulations, and that standards and the cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding stores are kept up to date.

Carrying out checks to ensure weekly and daily cleaning schedules are adhered to and that food and cleaning provisions are correctly stored away.

Required skills and qualifications

City and Guilds 706 1 and 2 or equivalent.

Basic food hygiene certificate.

3* Hotel experience or similar experience.

Excellent cooking and communication skills.
