The role:

• Leading a specialist SEND class within the school
• Planning and delivering highly differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
• Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs to access learning and achieve positive outcomes
• Working closely with support staff, families, and external professionals
• Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
• Monitoring progress and implementing effective intervention strategies

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Have significant SEND teaching experience
• Be confident leading a specialist provision or SEND class
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of a range of special educational needs and effective teaching strategies
• Have excellent behaviour management, communication, and organisational skills
• Be passionate about helping every pupil reach their full potential
