Food Technology Teacher

The role:

• Teaching Food Technology from January 2027
• Planning and delivering engaging practical and theory-based lessons
• Supporting students to develop culinary, nutritional, and food preparation skills
• Creating a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
• Assessing, monitoring, and supporting student progress
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching Food Technology or a related subject
• Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Be enthusiastic about practical learning and student engagement
• Have excellent communication and organisational skills
• Be committed to helping students achieve their full potential
