We’re looking for seasonal Front of House team members to join us at The Riverford Field Kitchen—our award-winning farm restaurant in the heart of Devon’s South Hams.

This isn’t just any Front of House role. Here at The Riverford Field Kitchen, we cook with the seasons, from the fields around us, creating a daily-changing feast where veg takes centre stage. It’s fast-paced, hands-on, and full of energy, but always with a strong sense of purpose—serving good food, grown the right way.

This role is a fixed term summer contract, between 15 and 25 hours per week - with the majority of hours covering weekends, as this is the busiest time for the Field Kitchen.
Location: This role is based at The Field Kitchen, Wash Barn, Buckfastleigh, Devon, TQ11 0JU.- We’re tucked away in the heart of the countryside, surrounded by fields rather than bus stops. That means you’ll need to live locally and have your own transport to get here.

Pay: £12.65 per hour plus TRONC

What you’ll be doing…
You’ll be serving wonderful food and locally-sourced drinks; making fresh juices; helping keep the restaurant clean and tidy and occasionally harvesting some produce from our polytunnel and garden.

What we're looking for…
Preferably, you'll have some experience of waiting in a restaurant and be a natural at dealing with customers. An interest in, and ability to learn about, food, farming and the environment is a must as our guests have a lot of questions for us!
