Data Collection Ensures accurate data is rapidly captured and recorded to meet the standards for the management of patients, and to fulfil information requirements for the South West Peninsula Soft Tissue Sarcoma Service. Namely quarterly figures, Annual Reports, Sarcoma National Service Specification data and assisting with failsafe tracking patients for the nursing team. Liaise with Specialist centres outside of the Region. To take a key role in coordinating national cancer databases, liaising with clinicians/teams to collect all patient level clinical information. Collation of data from other regional partners in the wider Sarcoma Team; RDUH, RCHT and SDHT To coordinate and keep well informed of future sarcoma and NHS service specification information requirements. To appraise the Leads on issues relating to Sarcoma cancer information demands and requirements. Produces audit reports for Sarcoma and information reports, as requested, at local, regional, or national level. Provides support to the MDT in the collation of information for the evidence folder required for the Quality Surveillance assessments and visits. For further details please see attached JD&PS.
