Who are we looking for?

We are seeking to appoint a Cleaner to help keep our school environment clean and tidy. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for undertaking general cleaning duties, including mopping, sweeping, buffing, and vacuuming, to ensure the school is maintained in a clean and hygienic condition. You should be able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum all floors, including classrooms, corridors, and communal areas

• Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, and other sanitary fittings

• Dust and polish furniture, windowsills, and other surfaces

• Replenish consumables such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls

• Ensure all waste is disposed of correctly and the school is kept tidy

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a cleaning or caretaking role is desirable, but not essential

• Ability to work efficiently and independently to maintain high standards of cleanliness

• Commitment to working as part of a team to support the school community

• Flexible and adaptable to accommodate changes in the school's needs
