Duties include both clinic and operating sessions under local anaesthesia and intravenous sedation, along with involvement in teaching and mentoring more junior staff. The post-holder will also be involved in the provision of advice to clinicians in hospital and primary care settings, originating either from telephone calls from external practitioners, other departments, or associated clinical professionals.
