An exciting opportunity to join us as a Senior Buyer in our Diamonds category!

If you have experience of Buying Diamonds within the capacity of a Senior Buyer or Buyer and have a high level of commercial awareness we would like to hear from you!

We are diamond specialists and as such we strive to deliver beautiful product, a cut above the rest of the high street. As a Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for driving and implementing product strategy and supplier relationships which deliver profitable growth and sales. You will own your product development and selection, working closely with your colleagues in Merchandising to drive performance.

You will have experience within the following:

• Successful track record of product/buying experience (focus on commercial and development not sourcing) in retail (high street retail highly desirable)
• Diamond knowledge required
• Demonstrably high level of commercial awareness and thorough working knowledge of buying process
• Proven relationship building skills
• Proven negotiation skills
• Strong organisational skills with proven ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
• Proven people management skills
• Proven numerical and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with a proven ability to build effective relationships and influence at all levels.
• Good presentation skills
• Knowledge of manufacturing techniques desirable
