This position involves being a key member of the Software Integration and Testing team. We are seeking an experienced candidate to fill this hands-on technical role, responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test cases to validate vehicle ECU software functionality in Body and Propulsion domains.
Responsibilities
- Possess hands-on experience in testing embedded software for production automotive ECU software. - Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of embedded software development and testing, along with hands-on experience with test automation tools, preferably ECU Test and Control Desk. - Familiarity with DevOps, automation pipelines, GitHub repositories, and a good understanding of modern vehicle architectures. - Collaborate with other teams, including those responsible for developing virtual and physical test platforms, software architecture, basic software, and application software developers.
Requirements
- Automotive experience, including embedded software testing. - Hands-on experience in developing test cases, test scripts, test automation, and debugging embedded software. - Proficiency in Test Methodologies, Reviews of Work products, Test Reports preparation, and ASPICE familiarity. - Experience with Automotive communication protocols (CAN, CAN-FD, Ethernet, SOMEIP, LIN), Diagnostics Standards (UDS, OBDII), and Calibration and Measurement protocols/standards (e.g., XCP, CCP). - Familiarity with tools like dSpace (Control Desk, Automation Desk) and Vector Tools such as CANoe, CANape, etc. - Experience with Defect Management and Defect tracking tools like RTC, Jira, and Requirements management tools like DOORS Classic/DNG. - Good communication skills with the ability to interface with other groups. - University degree.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools like ECU-Test, Test Guide, etc. - Experience with dSpace HIL (Control desk). - Familiarity with ASPICE, virtualization testing, HIL Testing, and Debugging skills. - Experience or familiarity with AUTOSAR and Virtual ECUs. - Experience working within an Agile/Scrum software development process. - Experience with continuous integration systems, ALM tools, and script automation. - Experience authoring ASIL compliant software code and use of functional safety code analysis tools.
