Summary of Job Purpose and Principal Duties
As the Administrative Assistant (Postgraduate) you will provide a sound level of clerical and administrative support to the office. You will have a commitment to service delivery and an ability to interact positively with people at all levels in a dynamic academic environment. You will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
You will have experience of working in a busy office environment and will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office/Windows.
Role Purpose
• To offer administrative and clerical expertise to provide an outstanding level of support for the delivery of fit for purpose postgraduate programmes.

- Providing clerical and administrative support to taught programmes
- Working in a School based environment where the academic cycle for students is understood
- Working in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Outstanding communication skills
- Patience required for supporting international students
- Excellent forward planning and organisational skills
- Ability to work on own initiative to problem solve
- Customer focussed and service orientated person
- Operational experience of Microsoft Office package, particularly Word and Excel
Qualifications
- HNC/HND in a relevant subject
- Working knowledge of SITS, MyDundee, ARMI, OneUniversity
