Blaby is a great place to live. This role is an exciting opportunity to help ensure it stays that way for people affected by the Cost of Living crisis.

Your role will be to gather information and resources so that Cost of Living support can be easily accessed by our residents and staff and deliver presentations to key stakeholders to showcase the support and initiatives available.

You will also be a responsible for assisting in the delivery of the cost of living action plan which pulls together all the cost of living initiatives being implemented across the Council.

You will have an understanding of how the cost of living crisis affects communities and individuals, as well as a good working knowledge of welfare benefits. Experience of putting together information for various audiences and relaying information in an engaging and informative way to different groups is essential. Experience of working with vulnerable people in a housing, health or social care setting is desirable.

Ability to prioritise own workload, meet deadlines and produce quality services are essential, as are excellent customer services skills.

This position will be hybrid working, with a requirement to attend the office on a regular basis. Attendance at events which may be outside office hours will also be required on occasion.
